In order to increase awareness of Facebookā€™s Fundraising platform for Giving Tuesday, we launched a campaign that gave reasons why ā€œit feels good to do good.ā€ I led a team to create the concept (featuring fantastic animation from Buck) as well as a series retargeted ads and worked. I also worked in tandem with Facebook Watch to help get the word out in the week leading up to the big day. All told, people raised more than $125 million, a significant increase from the previous year.

Non-profit campaigns are plagued by sad imagery and sleepy words. We opted to share the brighter side of giving back for #GivingTuesday by asking people to give selfishly with Facebook Fundraisers. The campaign helped raise over $125 million dollars to help over 97,000 non-profit organisationsā€¦and it felt good.
