HOPES

The year 2017 has been a pretty rough year on everyone and we wanted to listen to the people on the platform rather than shout over them. So, right after the Ball dropped and everyone started celebrating the new year’s, we asked everyone a really simple question: “What are you hopeful for?”

After thousands of conversations with people from all over the world, we discovered that while we look at the New Year from different perspectives, us humans are all looking forward with hope. We are hopeful for love, for health, for peace, for belonging. We hope our parents are healthy, and our children are happy. And despite all of the differences that are put forward, it remains evident that what we hope for is what brings us together.

FILM - Our TV spot was directed by Gus Van Sant, and aired during the 2018 Golden Globes, following Oprah's incredibly rousing speech

SOCIAL FILMS
We spotlighted real people from around the world and their hopes in a series of films, vignettes and portraits.

VIGNETTES

We explored the nuances of some of the most common hopes. These vignettes tell the stories of: Nahum, a clown from Mexico; Brian, a tribe leader from New Orleans; Ishida, a self-defense teacher from India; and Sydney, a busker from Los Angeles.
